One of the core rituals of the Church of Sweat is to engage in sweat buybacks from disciples at a rate of 2PED/1k SWEAT in tranches of 20PED for 10k. For now, as the Church grows, the Church will purchase 10k SWEAT at 20 PED from any member once per month. Sweat buybacks will occur throughout the month, and additional buybacks will be announced in the near future.
We plan on adding more sweat buybacks as we continue to grow, but to maintain a reasonable administrative load for Archbishop of Toulan, Roger VulcanBorn Wilco, we will be proceeding with a single guaranteed buyback through May 1, 2026, and will begin a tiered system, based on rank, thereafter.
It it also anticipated that the Pope of the Church of Sweat, Prime Rogue Inc, will issue additional sweat buybacks whenever he feels the thirst for the sweetest most vibrant sweat.
For those currently seeking to join the Holy Church of Sweat, you must simply message Prime Rogue Inc in game – letting him know of your desire to become an acolyte of the Church, a thug per our origins as a Calypso street gang. At the time you join, Prime Rogue Inc or another archbishop will also give you the optional mission of bringing another item – that will be purchased from you at 1.3X the current lowest buyout the at Calypso auction house.
In other words, and for this supplemental tribute, if animal muscle oil is selling at 103% at the Auction House, you would receive a payment of 130% for the quantity requested.
There is one final element to the buyback problem. At the time of your exchange, you must submit a dead Limited item, a weapon, piece of armor or tool, for the Church to integrate into its shrine. Every month, the Archbishop of Rocktropia, Pienose SweatBorn McGee, will maintain a secret list of 13 items. If you meet Pienose in game, you may be able to find a hint. A regular submission of a 0TT value item will not provide an additional reward – it is simply a sacrifice to the God of Sweat. If, however, you provide the Church with one of the 13 items on Pienose McGee’s list, which will be encrypted and written to the blockchain monthly for the sake of transparency, you will receive an additional tribute bonus of 13 PED.
